"Watch 3,000 common and grey seals from a boat on England's longest shingle spit"

About

Blakeney Point on the Norfolk coast is home to England's largest colony of grey seals and one of its largest common seal colonies — around 3,000 animals in total. Boat trips from Morston Quay run daily and bring you alongside basking seals on the remote shingle spit, with pups born in November and December. The Point is also a significant bird migration site — warblers, flycatchers, and rare vagrants funnel through the saltmarshes in autumn. The nearby village of Blakeney has some of Norfolk's finest flint-faced pubs and restaurants.
